As of today, the Hypno-Systems UK channel has topped 2,800 subscribers. My sincere thanks to all who have subscribed and watched my videos to date; there’s a lot more quality content coming!
A close-up on Blue Crocus flowers by a flowing stream back this “Singing Bowl Sandwich”. It was created from many different MIDI synth runs layered together with an ambient backing track also of my own creation.
I spent a lot of time watching the History Channels last week. Soon all of the people who helped in this fight for freedom will be no more; and I’ve even heard that in some areas of the USA teaching the history of the Great Wars (World Wars One and Two) is no longer done as the curriculum is considered to be “politically incorrect”. To this I can only say one thing:
Those who neither learn from nor remember the mistakes of the past, are doomed to repeat those mistakes. Therefore let us strive to always remember.
Last week was the 70th anniversary of D-Day, the start of the Allied landing in Normandy, France, that contributed to the end of World War II.
While some marked it with (deserved) pomp and circumstance, we observed it by reading the latest from some of our favorite veterans’ blogs on WordPress.com:
Then-infantryman Don Gomez served two tours in Iraq with the US Army in the early 2000s. After a stint in graduate school and a dissertation on the experiences of Iraqi soldiers during the Iran-Iraq War, he re-upped and heads to Afghanistan later this summer as a Second Lieutenant.
His blog, Carrying the Gun, is a mix of thoughtful essays on everything from modern soldiering to women in combat to the transition from soldier to civilian. Sprinkled throughout are photos and letters from his Iraq deployments — a fascinating portrait of the life on the front lines.

Headphones strongly recommended as the nature layer here is a definite Full Immersion Audio effect. All sounds in the soundscape recording created by me using various instruments and libraries in Native Instruments’ Kontakt sampling synthesizer.
My personal research on why people subscribe to my main channel has uncovered these facts: first, more people seem to be subscribing for my Brainwave Entrainment and Soundscape videos than for the hypnosis videos. Secondly of those that do subscribe for the hypnosis videos, 6 out of 10 just as quickly un-subscribe.
There can only be one reason for this; i.e. they are not looking for therapeutic, but recreational hypnosis. The indicators are the last channels before my own that these YouTubers subscribed to. In all cases of predictable lost subscriptions, every prior channel subscribed to in that period by the YouTube member in question was a channel presenting recreational hypnosis as the sole content. The Hypno-Systems UK — Ericksonian Hypnosis and More channel does not and has never presented this type of hypnosis; nor do I plan to have this channel present such at any time in the future. If you are reading this post and plan to subscribe to the channel, please take note of the statements above before you do so in order to make sure you access the content you really seek.
